The Global KAM guides the reference accounts by acknowledging the current and potential needs and peculiarities of the customer, developing positive relationships with current and potential customers, and ensuring the achievement of commercial targets.

Italian company operates in the kitchen range hood market since the 1970s. Today, the company has seven plants around the world in Italy, Poland, Mexico, India and China.

Funciones y retos de la posición:

Objective of the Position: The Global KAM guides the reference accounts by acknowledging the current and potential needs and peculiarities of the customer, developing positive relationships with current and potential customers, and ensuring the achievement of commercial targets.

STRATEGY

  • Operate within the overall marketing strategy in collaboration with the OEM & PL product manager.
  • Define the commercial strategy towards your accounts, ensuring development, growth and a positive relationship.
  • Participate and contribute for their own accounts, to the definition of the 3-year plan.
  • Propose the annual budget for their accounts.
  • Guide their accounts in defining the product range in line with the overall marketing strategy.

SALES

  • Maximize profitability within your accounts by ensuring the achievement of targets in terms of volumes, P&L, net sales and marginality also through pricing policies, bonuses, etc.
  • Make monthly and quarterly forecasts
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with your accounts, including payment terms.

GLOBAL ROLE

  • Sharing information with local sales structures, supporting them and defining local targets and KPI´s.
  • Support local sales structures in case of conflicts with accounts that require escalation.
  • Renew long-term contracts, carry out audits to ensure compliance with the global policies of their accounts.

QUALITY, R&D, LOGISTICS, FINANCE

  • Guarantee support to the quality function in the event of problems related to the product.
  • Guarantee support to the R&D function on re-engineering projects
  • Guarantee support to the logistics functions for demand and forecasting activities, keeping their accounts aligned.
  • Collaborate with the finance function in the management of credits lines and receivables from their accounts.

ORGANIZATION & PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure, in collaboration with the HR function and the B2B global management, thar th areas of competence are structures in such a way as to ensure that the activities are carried out in line witht he grou´s objectives and strategies.
  • Ensure that the team has a set of skills appopiate to the needs by filling any gaps through targeted training.
  • Create a work environment that incentives to communicate, delegate, work for objectives and to be accountable in carrying out daily activites.
  • Lead the team through mentoring and coaching activities.
  • Ensure business continuity also through the identification of potential successors.

Experiencia deseable:

5-10 years of experience in sales, business development or key account management in home appliances or similar industries (Including Automotive).
