OBJETIVE OF THE POSITION
This position is responsible for ensuring the correct planning of materials and production plan, avoiding incurring in extraordinary expenses such as air freight and obsolescence of materials. Maintaining optimal inventory levels in the plant.

WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST TECHNICAL (OR-POSITION-SPECIFIC) CHALLENGES THE PERSON WILL FACE?
-Responsible for the management and coordination of all components ensuring their arrival in a timely manner.
-Responsible for escalating any risk of impact to the production line that prevents the fulfillment of customer
requirements.
-Responsible for ensuring that the carriers comply with the established times and agreements.
-Liaison with sister plants for logistical issues with suppliers.
-Liaison with new projects, participating in meetings as requested.
-Manage and maintain inventory accuracy in components.
-Ensure system input/receipt of invoices for indirect materials.
-Monitor the production plan, with the objective of ensuring that it is respected by the manufacturing areas.
-Manage suppliers to maintain effective communication for the fulfillment of requirements.
-Ensures the integration of new projects for Flexitech SLP,
-Participates and implements continuous improvement activities for Flexitech Mx plant.
-Responsible for avoiding extraordinary freight cost.
-Develop strategies in the supply chain to avoid any disruption.
-Responsible for keeping the logistics team informed of any changes in the organization.

EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Minimum 5 years of experience related to logistics, MRP, production planning and customer service.
-Advanced English/ Bilingual
-Automotive industry background
-Experience in personnel management.
-Experience in inventory management.
-Bachelor's degree/engineering completed (Logistics or equivalent with experience in Manufacturing or materials
area)
-Efficient use of SAP and Microsoft Excel
