PURCHASING SUPERVISOR:

Objective:
1. Responsible for purchasing according to local demand in Mexico
2. Responsible for supplier assessment and management
3. Responsible for understanding the market industry, and procurement cost reduction and efficiency improvement

Daily tasks:
First the candidate will have an on-boarding about the company and the position.
Souring and contact with suppliers, map the suppliers so that he/she can know when and who to contact.
Machining supplier development: check capability, type of parts and material used (metal, aluminium, etc), what is the tolernce control level, etc.
The business is not that big in Mexico Develop machining supplirs and check the capabiluty, type of parts (material), what is the tolerance control level.
Organize the machining suppliers to reach the customers demand.

Experience:
- 5 years' purchasing experience, familiar with local machining suppliers in Mexico
- Automation industry

Education:
Administrative or Engineering

Requirements:
- 5 years' purchasing experience in automation industry.
- Advanced English
- Bachelor's degree
- Familiar with the machinig suppliers in Mexico.
- Understand import-export laws and regulations (not an expert)
